Education and Surgical Training
Dr. Tuggle attended Abilene Christian University before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 2005.
After dental school, he remained at the University of Oklahoma to complete specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery. This hospital-based surgical specialty focuses on the hard and soft tissues of the face, mouth, jaws, and surrounding structures.
During his residency, Dr. Tuggle received advanced training in facial anatomy, surgery, anesthesia, trauma care, patient safety, and the management of complex conditions affecting the facial region. He served as Chief Resident before completing his residency in 2009.
Following residency, Dr. Tuggle moved with his family to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he developed an established oral surgery and facial aesthetics practice.
