How long does JUVÉDERM® last?
Results can last from 6 months to 2 years, depending on the type used and the treatment area.
Is the treatment painful?
Although there is a little discomfort, getting fillers injected is less painful than you may think! Your level of comfort definitely comes from the application technique, so it matters who you see. There is lidocaine in each syringe of filler which adds comfort.
Are there any side effects?
Mild swelling or bruising may occur, but these typically subside within a few days.

What Should I Expect for Aftercare?
- Sleep on your back with your head elevated for 24 hours after a filler procedure.
- Avoid sleeping on your face for a week.
- Steer clear of vigorous exercise, sun exposure, and heat for three days.
- Avoid alcohol, caffeine, niacin supplements, high-sodium foods, sugary foods, refined carbs (fruit is okay), spicy foods, and cigarettes for 24-48 hours post-treatment.
